Lauren qualified from Brunel university in 2016 with a BSc (HONS) degree in Physiotherapy.
She began her career with rotations in an acute hospital prior to moving, and specialising, into Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (NHS). Her client base included common injuries of the spine, joint issues, trauma, pre and post orthopaedic rehabilitation. She now works between Coventry University providing student placement education for physiotherapy, running her own Pilates classes and working in a community medical rehab hospital, ensuring effective rehabilitation to those with a specific emphasis on exercising and regaining function.
Additionally Lauren is qualified in sports massage and APPI (Australian physiotherapy and Pilates institute) Pilates.
Outside of work Lauren plays netball with a local league, undertakes her own Pilates and spends the rest of her time walking her dog and horse riding. She is an advocate of a functional approach to physiotherapy and enjoys working with all ages to achieve their goals holistically.
